NBC Entertainment has promoted two of its executives in alternative programming.
Brandon Riegg and Enrique Guillen have both been upped to senior vice presidents in the department. Both report to executive vice president of alternative programming, NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios.

Formerly the alternative programming and development vice president since 2010, Riegg has overseen many of NBC’s popular reality shows, including “The Biggest Loser,” “America’s Got Talent” and “American Ninja Warrior.” He was also responsible for developing the new Universal Media Studios-produced hit “Hollywood Game Night.”
In his new role, Riegg will be responsible for the department’s current slate, including ensuring that its brands continue to evolve in matters of programming, scheduling, marketing and integration partnerships and interactivity. In addition, Riegg will contribute to the development of new shows.

Guillen has been with NBC Universal for a decade. He joined NBC Entertainment as an alternative programming vice president in 2009 from Telemundo. He currently oversees “The Celebrity Apprentice” and “Last Comic Standing,” and has also done a great deal of development for the department. In his expanded role, Guillen will add focus on the development of new projects that have enhanced digital interactivity, advertiser innovation and cross-company collaboration.
He previously worked for USA Network and Univision.
