Ratings: ‘The Voice,’‘Blacklist’ Returns Deliver Strong Monday for NBC

NBC topped Monday with a solid season premiere of “The Voice” and return of new hit drama “The Blacklist.”

“The Voice” was down just one-tenth of a point in ratings, though the singing competition was up in viewers. ”The Blacklist,” which followed, was up 24 percent versus its prior telecast from four weeks ago.

NBC was first in ratings with a 4.2 rating/11 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 14.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. ”The Voice” at 8 earned a 4.7/13 and 15.7 million viewers, making it the most-watched and highest-rated program in primetime. “The Blacklist” at 10 received a 3.1/9 and 11.3 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 2.2/6 and in viewers with 8.3 million. “The Bachelor” at 8 had a 2.4/7 and 8.1 million viewers. “Castle” at 10 got a 1.7/5 and 8.7 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 2.1/6 and in viewers with 7.2 million. “How I Met Your Mother” at 8 earned a 3.6/11 and 9.3 million viewers. At 8:30, “2 Broke Girls” received a 2.5/7 and 7.9 million viewers. “Mike & Molly” at 9 got a 2.1/5 — down 22 percent — and 8.1 million viewers. “Mom” at 9:30 had a 1.9/5 — down 21 percent to a new low — and 7.2 million viewers. “Intelligence” at 10 received a 1.2/3 and 5.4 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 1.6/4 and in viewers with 5.1 million. “Almost Human” at 8 had a 1.6/5 — a low — and 5.7 million viewers. “The Following” at 9 also hit a series low with a 1.6/4. The Kevin Bacon-thriller had 4.6 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 1.1/3 and in total viewers with 2.9 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/1 and 1.3 million viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 844,000. “Star-Crossed” at 8 got a 0.3/1 and 1.1 million viewers. “Beauty & the Beast” at 9 had a 0.2/0 and 565,000 viewers.
