Fox has shaken up its schedule, moving its freshman drama “Rake” to Friday nights at 8 p.m. starting March 14, while shifting the Thursday night results shows of “American Idol” to 9 p.m. starting March 13.

A new season of “Hell’s Kitchen,” featuring hot-headed chef Gordon Ramsay, will slide into the Thursdays at 8 p.m. timeslot currently held by “Idol” on March 13.

“Rake” will be followed on Fridays by “Enlisted” at 9 p.m. and “Raising Hope” at 9:30 p.m.

The network’s new comedy “Surviving Jack,” starring “Law & Order: SVU” alum Christopher Meloni, will premiere March 27 at 9:30 p.m., with “American Idol” shifting to half-hour episodes on that night.

“Rake,” starring Greg Kinnear as a charismatic attorney/trainwreck, has had a rough time in the ratings, posting a 0.8 rating/2 share — a 20 percent drop from the previous week — in the 18-49 demographic most important to viewers with its most recent airing.
