Ron Burgundy thinks the idea of a 24-hour cable news network is “stupid” in a new clip from “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,” but stupid is as stupid does, so of course he takes a job at one.
The scene (above) from Paramount’s sequel to 2004′s “Anchorman” features Will Ferrell’s comedic character getting a job offer to work at GNN, a “first-of-its-kind” news network based in New York City, where he’ll grapple with a new set of challenges: A better looking colleague, gays in the work place and dating a black woman.

The entire Channel 4 news team — including Champ Kind (David Koechner), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), and Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) — returns to theaters on Dec. 18, along with more of Burgundy’s quotable catchphrases.
The newest entry in Burgundy’s long list of absurd expressions involves a very private part of “Grease” star Olivia Newton John.
Enjoy.
