English singer Kate Bush announced her first string of live performances on Friday since her first and only tour 35 years ago.
“I am delighted to announce that we will be performing some live shows this coming August and September,” Bush wrote on her website. “I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there.”

Bush, who only toured once in 1979 after rising to fame with the release of hit UK single “Wuthering Heights,” will perform 15 shows titled “Before the Dawn” at London's Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith between Aug. 26 and Sept. 19.
Although the singer has recorded ten albums, and scored a number of top 40 hits in the UK, she has only made rare appearances on stage since her 1979 “Tour of Life.”
