Google Offers Google Glass to Everyone

Google will make Google Glass, its experimental sunglasses, available to the mass public for the first time the company announced Thursday.

Google has restricted the number of people who can buy them via its Explorer program, but next Tuesday anyone can buy a pair for $1,500 (plus tax).

Glass is one of the most prominent examples of wearable technology, a wave of products that bring software one uses on a phone or computer to clothing items. You can take photos or answer text messages using the glasses.

It has already inspired concerns about privacy, intrigued filmmakers and pleased those self-obsessed individuals eager to document their every move.

Now everyone can become a Glasshole.
