The second season of “Vikings,” doesn’t premiere until Feb. 7, but History started sharing scintillating sneak peeks of its hit original scripted series this week.
Judging by these photos, you would be forgiven for thinking real vikings did nothing but parade around shirtless and look broodingly hot. But perhaps that’s the point.

The teaser trailer doesn’t tell us much about upcoming plot twists, but it features 30 seconds of Ragnar Lothbrok readying for battle – and turning into a crow? – accompanied by the sweet sound of songstress Lorde.
Because who cares how Ragnar will reconcile his inner conflict between family and clan when there are ruggedly handsome vikings to look at. We’ll get to that in February.
