The husband of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump has found himself with some off-screen drama on his hands, in the form of a lawsuit.
Ken Todd, Vanderpump's husband, has been hit with a lawsuit by a pair of brothers who claim that Todd assaulted one of them while they were working construction at his West Hollywood venue P.U.M.P. Lounge, and then accused them of blackmailing him.

In the suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, Kevin and David Cazaref claim that Todd approached Kevin last October and told him “in a rude and aggressive manner” that he wasn't demolishing concrete properly. According to the complaint, after Kevin asked Todd to speak to him more courteously an offered to let Todd show him how to perform the task properly, Todd went off, pushing Kevin “hard on his chest” as he grabbed Kevin's tool. (His demolition tool, that is.)
The brothers go on to claim that, after deputies spoke to Todd, he offered to give Kevin “a sum of money as a gesture of good faith.” Todd and the brothers negotiated the fee as they made their way to Todd's bank, but negotiations fell apart, and Todd “started to shout at them and accused them in a loud voice that everyone around could hear of ‘blackmailing’ him,” the suit alleges.
The new lawsuit is but the latest development in a string of legal entanglements that Todd has experienced in connection to P.U.M.P. Last summer, Vamderpump and Todd were sued by a pair of men who claimed that they planned to open a sports-themed gay bar at the location, only to have the location “stolen” from them.
And later in the year, Todd filed suit against the Cazarefs, claiming that Kevin threw the machine at Todd, causing “serious and permanent injury to plaintiff's lower body, including his hip, leg and knee.” Todd's suit, which also claimed that the brothers engaged in an “attempted shakedown and extortion” of Todd, was dismissed in March, according to the new complaint.
Alleging battery, assault, slander and abuse of process, the Cazarefs are seeking unspecified damages.
