Shawn Ryan is sticking with Sony.
The creator of groundbreaking drama “The Shield” has re-upped with Sony Pictures Television with a new three-year overall deal.

Ryan, who had been with 20th Century Fox prior to signing with Sony in 2011, recently worked on the short-lived ABC drama “Last Resort” and “The Chicago Code” for Fox, as well as the small-screen adaptation of the Eddie Murphy film “Beverly Hills Cop,” which was eventually passed over by CBS.
He was also the show runner and executive producer of FX’s “Terriers,” which was canceled after one season.
