After several attempts at a second scripted comedy with staying power, MTV is premiering “Faking It” on Tuesday, April 22. Created and executive produced by Carter Covington (“Hart of Dixie,” “Greek”), the show follows two female best friends who will do anything, including faking being lesbian, to fit in at high school.
“Faking It” stars Katie Stevens, Rita Volk, Michael Willett, Gregg Sulkin and Bailey Buntain.
And finally, the cable channel will debut its “Top Chef” meets “Real World” reality series, “House of Food,” on Monday, March 31. The series pits eight untrained contenders against each other. They’ll compete in the kitchen, then live alongside each other.
