NBC has ordered two new single-camera comedy pilots from former “Happy Endings” star Casey Wilson and Rashida Jones-Will McCormack’s production company, Le Train Train.
“Happy Endings” alum Wilson will co-write and executive produce “Mason Twins” with June Raphael. Stacy Traub will also executive produce the ABC Studios project.
The project is described as following fraternal twins who had been estranged for 15 years. Pender and Lizzie Mason reconnect after Lizzie’s perfect city life has fallen apart, and she returns to her suburban town to find that her sister hasn’t matured past her teen queen days.

Jones and McCormack’s Le Train Train will produce “A to Z” with Ben Queen tapped to executive produce and write the Warner Bros. Television comedy.
A whimsical romantic comedy, “A to Z” is set in the world of an on-line dating company that details the “A to Z’s” of a relationship, from meeting to break-up. The ensemble of characters navigates the complicated world of modern dating and poses the question: Is there such a thing as destiny?
Earlier this week, NBC also went to the “Happy Endings” well when it ordered a comedy pilot from the former ABC comedy’s creator David Caspe. The half hour, single camera comedy titled “Marry Me” follows a longtime couple who gets engaged and quickly realizes it is harder than it looks.

These new comedy pilots will go into contention for series pick up at NBC with previously announced Kate Walsh-starrer “Bad Judge.”
NBC has already ordered Mark and Robb Cullen’s “Mr. Robinson,” an untitled Tina Fey/Ellie Kemper comedy and Katie and Jane Ford’s “Working the Engels” to series.
