NBC has ordered the pilot for “Coercion,” a sleeper cell drama based on an Israeli format about a Russian sleeper cell being reawakened.
The Universal Television drama comes from Keshet Media and will be written, directed and executive produced by George Nolfi, with Avi Nir executive producing.

The thriller follows the O’Connor family, whose son, Alex, is a decorated American war hero and CIA analyst who is a true patriot. Little does he know his parents and his sister are part of a dormant Russian sleeper cell that has just been reactivated. Once they are reawakened, Alex’s parents and sister must spy on him.
