Lexicon PR operations manager Zack Teperman is departing the firm to form ZTPR effective Thursday, TheWrap has learned.
Many of Teperman’s clients will transfer to ZTPR, including Richard Grieco, Josh Levi, Chris Caldovino, Charley Koontz, Bruno Amato, Marina Toybina, and Dj Ashba of Guns N Roses.
With his new company, the Toronto native aims to take advantage of his Canadian roots and professional contacts by expanding his American clients into that country and vice versa.

“I’m excited to finally take the helm and create a new agency that brings both Canada, where I’m originally from, and the U.S. together,” he told TheWrap. “There’s really no firm that conquers both markets concurrently.”
Teperman is currently the operations manager and senior account executive at Lexicon, which he joined in December 2010. Over his career, Teperman has represented celebrities, Fortune 500 companies, start-up and lifestyle brands in addition to celebrity talent.

Previously, he worked as a radio deejay for both Canadian and American radio stations, including Fan 590, KISS FM, Y100, and Mix100.
Lexicon PR didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
