Guess who’s coming to Brooklyn?

Adam Sandler will play himself in a post-Super Bowl episode of Fox’s hit comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” in February, Eonline reported Thursday.

Fox and a rep for Sandler had no comment for TheWrap‘s requests.

It’s a big day for the breakout hit, which has overcome a weak lead-in (fellow freshman Fox series “Dads”) and gained a following along with critical praise. Early Thursday morning, ”Brooklyn Nine-Nine” was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best TV Series, Comedy. Show star Andy Samberg, who plays brilliant-but-goofy Detective Jake Peralta was nominated for Best Actor in a TV Series, Comedy.

The casting reunites the two “Saturday Night Live” alums, who co-starred in 2012′s “That’s My Boy” and this year’s “Grown Ups 2.”

The special “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” episode on Super Bowl Sunday will air in a one-hour comedy block with “New Girl”, airing immediately after the network’s big game broadcast.
