Here’s something you won’t see on “The Walking Dead”: Norman Reedus screaming in fright when a zombie approaches.
The actor, who plays fan-favorite character Daryl Dixon on the hit AMC drama, was the target of Vine zombie prankster Nick Santonastasso — a New Jersey teen who was born with one arm and no legs — and wasn’t nearly as calm, cool and collected in the face of danger as he is with a crossbow in hand for protection.

Reedus’ co-star Andrew Lincoln, who leads the cast of “Walking Dead” as Rick Grimes, and and the show’s special effects master and co-executive producer Greg Nicotero helped Santonastasso pull off the prank in Japan, where the show airs on Fox.

“The Walking Dead” resumes its fourth season in America on Feb. 9.
